About Me

I’m a 40 something Christian woman who has been married for 27 years to a great guy who loves me and I have 3 beautiful daughters who inspire me to be better than I am.

I began scrapbooking about 15 years ago and have been keeping albums ever since. I invited myself to my first Creative Memories “scrapbook party” as I had seen an album and knew that I wanted to create a scrapbook photo album. You see, my oldest daughter had an album that she kept in her room, and looked at constantly. It was the story of the first years of her life, and it was falling apart. We actually had to hold the pictures onto the page sides as we turned the pages. It was sad, and she could no longer look at it herself. I knew I had to do something…so off I went to that Creative Memories party, and I came home addicted.

Since that time a lot has happened, my life has changed, and so has my style of scrapbooking, even the products that Creative Memories offers has evolved. The one thing that has stayed consistent is my dedication to Creative Memories products. Now, don’t misunderstand, I have looked around, at one time I even decided to switch album types, as the consultant that I frequented lived 30 minutes from me. But as I searched for the album and supplies that were right for my pictures, I discovered that nothing compared to the quality of Creative Memories. If I was going to spend money and time on these albums I wanted them to look nice and last.

Today I teach other’s, how to scrapbook and how to earn money with a scrapbooking business, that’s where this blog is centered, on teaching others. I want to share how easy it is to keep your photos organized and in albums. Do you have to traditionally scrapbook? Nope. In fact, I’ve found that scrapbooking, especially highly embellished scrapbooking, intimidates people. It’s beautiful and everyone admires a beautiful album but will they create one? Probably not and for those people the photos will stay in the box.
Here I’ll show creative ideas, some highly embellished, some digital and some simple. Maybe you’ll be inspired, I hope, but at least you’ll know that there are options and that you can keep it. It’s that simple.
